P-DTR is a very gentle, non-invasive and painless method based on the real time manual effect of particular sensory receptors on the human body.
P-DTR works with functional problems. Treatment will beneficially affect the body's nervous system in general; as well as the digestive, musculoskeletal, circulatory and lymphatic systems.
What is P-DTR?
Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex (P-DTR) is the practical application of theoretical neurology with inspiration and source material drawn from neurology, biomechanics, neurophysiology, anatomy, orthopedics and research founded by Dr. Jose Palomar. This neurological therapy works directly with the Central Nervous System (CNS), using receptors as its entry point to understand, assess and treat all kinds of pain and dysfunction.
The P-DTR method provides the tools and assessments to locate and diagnose the dysfunctional receptor, to stimulate all parts of a dysfunction, to find the priority area that is most important for the nervous system, to control the different information flow and reset it when dysfunctional, thereby altering the integration of noxious stimuli and the formation of sense of pain itself.

Reprogramming the Body
P-DTR as a therapy is used primarily to reprogram the software and firmware components of our body. However, it also has an important role to play in treating the causes of some hardware problems.
We can apply an analogy: just as a computer contains hardware, software and firmware, so does the human body.
In the body, the hardware is the bones, the ligaments, the organs, the nerves, blood vessels and the physical brain itself.
The software is the communication within the Central Nervous System and its many interconnected functions.
The firmware is the primitive reflexes we are born with as children and some of the autonomic unconscious functions that our bodies perform.
